Rose Sathler is a fashion and costume designer, corsetiere and a professor in the design area. Specialized in corsetry, she’s been in the segment since 2004 – when she started making corsets as the result of her personal research on Clothing History.

As founder of Black Cat Corsets, she has been offering her services to the public since 2005, the year when she started her activities in her atelier. She also works as a professor in the field of scenic costume design and, furthermore, in association with companies and producers, also deals with scenic costume creation and production in such a way so as to nurture again an uninterrupted interplay with music, dancing and dramatic arts.

In 2011 she announced the launch of a new brand, Rose Sathler – Alta Corseteria. The production of the brand is guided by the idea of a more authoral and embracing project focused on the artistic and handwork value of each piece.
